Train in the hottest new sport!

Mixed Martial Arts or MMA is fast replacing boxing as the fight lover’s spectator sport of choice.  More people are willing to pay to watch MMA pay-per-view events over boxing or professional wrestling.

MMA is a full contact sport where fighters utilize their striking and grappling skills to defeat their opponent. The MMA bout begins with both participants facing off in a standing position and inevitably ends up on the ground until one of them “taps out.”

As a result of its popularity, more and more people of all ages are interested in training in this fast-growing sport either as competitors or just for fun and physical fitness. The first step in learning MMA fighting is to have a good working knowledge of basic martial art skills like karate, boxing, wrestling, and grappling and submission ground fighting techniques.

If you are new to physical training or haven’t worked out in a long time, Calasanz body conditioning program, CALASANZ PHYSICAL ARTS® will help get you in shape so you can move to the MMA phase of your training.
